How to join the Forexuro Telegram channel and turn on alerts

Before you start

Forexuro delivers its free channel and signals on Telegram only, and Telegram is also the quickest way to reach support. Telegram is a free messaging app for iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and the web. You need a mobile number to create an account, but subscribers to a channel cannot see each other's numbers. Joining the Forexuro channel is free and needs no card details, and new members currently get free signals on joining. You can mute or leave the channel at any time.

Step 1: install Telegram

1. On iPhone, open the App Store; on Android, open Google Play. Search for Telegram and check the developer is Telegram FZ-LLC before installing.
2. Open the app, enter your mobile number and type the code Telegram sends you.
3. Add a name. A username is optional; you do not need one to join a channel.
4. Optional: install Telegram Desktop or use the web version so signals also reach your computer. Your chats sync across devices.

Step 2: join the free channel

1. Open the channel from this website: join the free Forexuro Telegram channel. The link opens Telegram at t.me/forexuro.
2. Check the name and handle at the top: the handle must be exactly @forexuro.
3. Tap Join. You can scroll up to read earlier posts.

Always open the channel from forexuro.com rather than from a link someone sends you privately. Copycat channels often use a similar name with an extra letter or underscore.

Step 3: turn on notifications

Signals are time sensitive. A trade idea seen an hour late may no longer be valid, so make sure alerts reach you.

1. In the channel: tap the channel name at the top, then make sure notifications are on. If you see an Unmute button at the bottom of the channel, tap it.
2. In Telegram settings: open Settings, then Notifications and Sounds, and check that notifications for channels are switched on.
3. On your phone: allow notifications for Telegram in your phone settings. On iPhone this is under Settings, Notifications, Telegram; on Android, under Settings, Apps, Telegram, Notifications.
4. Battery saving: on some Android phones, battery optimisation delays notifications. Set Telegram to unrestricted battery use if alerts arrive late.
5. Focus and Do Not Disturb: if you use these modes, allow Telegram during the hours you trade.

Menu names differ slightly between app versions and phone models, but the same settings exist on all of them.

Step 4: pin the channel

Pinning keeps the channel at the top of your chat list so a signal is not buried under other chats. On a phone, press and hold the channel in the chat list (on iPhone, swipe right) and choose Pin. On desktop, right click the chat and choose Pin. You can also put trading chats into their own folder.

Step 5: know what a signal looks like

Forexuro has two public Telegram accounts: the free channel @forexuro and the support account @forexuro_vip. We have no WhatsApp group and no app. We never ask for broker passwords, we do not manage accounts and we do not trade on anyone's behalf.
