AUD/USD signal results since 2023
The Aussie dollar is one of the markets the Forexuro desk trades most often, and its record is one of the most consistent on the site. Of the 464 AUD/USD winners, 77 closed at TP1, 62 at TP2 and 325 ran all the way to TP3, so 70% of the winning AUD/USD trades reached the final target. Across the whole period the pair added +16,403 pips, measured from the published entry to the highest target reached.

Sell signals have been the larger part of the AUD/USD record: 356 sells closed at a success rate of 83.8%, against 211 buys at 82.8%. The desk takes the side the chart supports, so the mix changes with the trend. Every row is on the AUD/USD results page, newest first.

The entry was 0.6956 with the stop 55 pips lower, at 0.6901. Price climbed through TP1 at 0.6976 (+20 pips) and TP2 at 0.6991 (+35 pips) and then reached TP3 at 0.7009, so the row records TP3 and +53 pips. The final target sat almost as far from entry as the stop did, which is typical of how AUD/USD tickets are built: the first target comes quickly, and once it is hit the management update usually moves the stop to entry, so the rest of the position is protected at its entry price. What moves AUD/USD
AUD/USD prices the Australian dollar in US dollars, so it answers to two central banks and to the mood of global markets. On the Australian side the main scheduled drivers are:
- Reserve Bank of Australia decisions. The RBA sets the cash rate with two objectives in its Act, price stability and full employment, and targets consumer price inflation of 2 to 3 per cent. Dates and the full rate history are on the RBA rate decision page and the central banks overview.
- Australian inflation and jobs data. The Australian Bureau of Statistics publishes the monthly consumer price index and the Labour Force survey, both closely read for the next RBA move.
- China and commodities. Australia exports large volumes of iron ore, coal and other raw materials, much of it to China, so Chinese growth news and commodity prices often show up in the Aussie dollar.
- Risk appetite. The Aussie tends to rise when investors are comfortable taking risk and fall when they rush to safety, which is why it can move with equities even on days without Australian news.
On the US side, Federal Reserve decisions, US inflation and the jobs report move AUD/USD as much as any Australian release. For positioning, the Aussie dollar COT report shows how speculators are leaning each week.
AUD/USD trading hours in UK time
AUD/USD trades around the clock on weekdays, but its own news arrives while the UK sleeps. On the Forexuro economic calendar for this winter, Australian CPI and jobs figures are scheduled at 00:30 UK time and RBA decisions at 03:30 UK time. The pair then often reacts again when London opens at 08:00 and when US data lands, usually at 13:30 UK time. Forexuro signals usually go out between about 05:00 and 15:00 UK time, and the exact time varies with the market, so AUD/USD ideas tend to arrive after the overnight Australian news has been priced and before the US session. The economic calendar lists every release in UK time.
How far AUD/USD moves in a day
Over the last 20 ECB reference fixings, to 4 November 2026, AUD/USD moved an average of 22 pips from one daily fixing to the next. The largest move between two fixings in the last three months was 99 pips, on 15 October 2026, and the pair fixed between 0.6911 and 0.7225 over that period.
In the Forexuro record, AUD/USD stop losses over the last 12 months sat a median of 55 pips from entry, across 180 closed signals, about 2.5 times that average daily move. TP1 sat a median of 20 pips from entry and TP3 53 pips. The trade history lists every one of those signals.
Source: ECB euro reference rates, one fixing a day at about 14:15 CET, so these figures understate the full range traded within a day. ATR (Average True Range) measures the same idea from each day's high and low; see how to set stop losses with ATR. Refreshed every weekday.
Sizing an AUD/USD signal
AUD/USD is quoted in US dollars, so one pip on a standard lot is worth 10 US dollars whatever the size of the account. Take the signal above: with a stop 55 pips from entry, a trader risking 50 dollars would trade about 0.09 lots, because 55 pips times 10 dollars times 0.09 is close to 50. The AUD/USD pip value calculator converts that into pounds or euros, and the lot size calculator does the whole sum from your risk percentage.
AUD/USD in the Forexuro record
In the current results window (September 2026 to 4 November 2026) 35 AUD/USD signals closed: 28 reached a take profit (TP3 on 22 of them), 3 hit the stop and 4 closed at breakeven. That is a success rate of 90.3% and +1,198 pips. Across all markets in the same window the success rate is 86.6% from 185 closed signals, the figure on the results board.
Success rate is take profit closes divided by take profit plus stop loss closes, for signals closed from September 2026 to 4 November 2026, the same rolling window and method as the results board. Breakeven exits are not counted as losses and are listed separately. Pips are measured to the highest target reached and exclude spread, swap and slippage.
